Tour de l'Horloge
The bell tower of the Hotel de Ville in Aix-en-Provence, France has been active since the 1500's.
In January, 2006 I made binaural recordings of the bells on the hour at 12 locations determined by clock overlay on the town map above.
In between the hours are random auditory scenes recorded throughout the town - each space with its own sound signature.
